In 2015, I co-founded what has grown into a collective of some of Africa’s finest brand thinkers. Together, we partner with visionary business leaders to build great brands—rooted in strategy, brought to life through design, and sustained across key touchpoints. What began as a personal exploration of graphic design as a campus ‘side hustle’ gradually evolved, through collaboration, into a fulfilling mission: helping visionaries find their voice, secure a place in people’s minds, and gain a lasting competitive edge. Now, a decade in, FourthCanvas stands as Nigeria’s leading brand strategy and design agency.
Inspired by my co-founder, Bolaji Fawole’s drive for structural excellence at FourthCanvas, we joined forces with one of our founding team members, Segun Oroyo, to create Fullgap—a client onboarding and business management tool designed to help small businesses scale. We first built it to solve our own challenges, and today, it’s empowering over 8,000 service providers to do the same. We’re driven by the potential of our tool to strengthen developing economies and early-stage businesses by enabling entrepreneurs to streamline operations, enhance their brand perception, and boost efficiency for themselves and their teams.
Recognizing how much of my leadership capabilities were shaped early on through mentally stimulating activities—from debates to press club journalism and more—it's been incredibly fulfilling to now play a role in shaping the next generation. One of the most impactful ways I’ve done this is through my partnership with my best friend from boarding school, Olaoluwa Akinsola, to bring critical thinking and effective communication to secondary schools via the Africa Debate Cup. I remain committed to inspiring the future, with active plans to take critical life values and real-world problem-solving to the classroom through self-leadership books, meaningful conversations, and mentorship.

Through the Royal African Young Leaders Forum which aims to reinvoke centuries of the rich resilient spirit and defining principles of African Kingdoms, I was recognized by His Imperial Majesty, OONI Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the 51st Ooni of Ife, as a recipient of the Royal African Awards and member of the Royal Court of Ile-Ife Kingdom. Growing up as a prince, I have always held in high regard the leadership of the Ooni and so this came as a fulfilling recognition and an immense inspiration to continue to be a good example of an ‘Omolúàbí’ — a Yoruba term for the honest, honourable African.
Unicorn Founders Africa started in 2021 out of the seasoned business consultant, Tamara Posibi’s desire to bring founders together for collective support for one another as visionaries trying to bring solutions to life through their early-stage startups. As a member, it’s been a privilege to leverage on connections and the spontaneous ‘masterclasses’ in the group chat. The support has been pivotal and I continue to play my own small part in sharing valuable insights for other founders and operators as well.
